I may be late to the table on this issue, but I just noticed that what used to be a cart symbol now appears as a small square on my site (using the latest of all templates), which is not intuitive. The same square symbol seems to be used to denote the presence of submenu items as well. What am I missing?
You should upgrade to the latest version of Backlight. Matt talked about this a few months ago: Upcoming Changes to Font Awesome
I was already using Backlight 5 but forced a re-update and that took care of the problem. Thanks.
