The selection of images from an album on a blog page take the presentation settings from the album. However, in the grid view the title and alt attributes are not filled on a blog page, take default value filename.
In the album (both Pangolin and Kookaburra) itself these attributes are filled.
Yes, I am. Did a hard re-publish to take out any ‘old’ data.
Note: the title and (now) alt attributes in the album itself do work now (as result of resolution of Kookaburra 6 Alt attribute not filled on site).
This is on the selected images (from an album) within a blog post.
This is not resolved (rnning 6.2.1) and seems to have lost attention.
The ‘alt’ and ‘title’ attributes of the thumbnails within the blogpost contain the filename. Not as set in the album these images are taken from. As the title is the pop-up message it is quite awkward.
Re Title HTML attribute: that is indeed not configurable, it just takes the Title image attribute in an album grid.
However, when in the ‘in-line album derivative’ (the grid presentation within the blog post) both title and alt HTML attributes are filled with the filename.
So, I suggest it to be like the album it is derived from: title contains Title image attribute, and alt contains the configured content.
Now (in 6.3.20 the alt attribute is indeed filled with the defined attributes in the album template. However, the title attribute (which is also displayed when hoovering) is still filled with the filename in the blogpost page. In the album it is shown as the Title attribute.
I seem to be having this problem as well in v6.3.2. I have configured a Kookaburra Essay template, under Image Metadata, to turn on IMG “alt” Attribute using the {Title} Token. Yet the page source for my published album has this definition:
