Search page is mostly blank

How do I put a link to that page in my navigation? I don’t see any page or any reference to this anywhere, including in the docs.

And you can add text to that page in Backlight Settings > Languages
manage the language and scrol down to the Publisher section and to “Search page intro”

the default menu set has the search page link already. If you no longer have it in your menu, just add a new item, link to URL and use the url to your search page: /backlight/search/

You are like magic hour lighting, Rod. Thank you for your help!

That sure is buried. I wish it was covered in the Docs.

I just entered text into the Search Intro field. But it doesn’t show up on my search page. Any clues?

Did you save the language settings?
try logging out of Backlight and then logging in again.
Also try clearing template cache.

I tried them all to no avail.

I just tried it in Firefox and Chrome, and it works. Not Safari. (I cleared Safari’s cache). It works on my iPhone too. So Safari on the Mac is the culprit.

I just quit Safari and restarted AND IT WORKS!
