Address field in Contact Form

Hi all,

It may be a stupid question but how do I get rid of the address field in the contact form?

Thank you in advance and best regards,
Oliver

In regular contact forms just edit the form and click “remove” next to any field you want to remove

found out that it has to do with honeypot

Hi Rod not so here. There is no adress field I can remove (Kookaburra) it shows the field if I enable honeypot.

Another thing is, that recaptcha 3 isn’t workin anymore. Probably after one of the latest updates???

The address field is the Honeypot. It should not appear on the contact page but is hidden. It’s meant to capture bots.

Are you seeing the address field in the contact form on the page?

yes, the address field shows up if I enable honeypot.

I doesn’t on my Honeypot enabled contact form.

Can you share a link so that @Ben has something to look at?

a link where honeypot is enabled?

the css to hide the field is missing. Try clearing template and browser cache

I was trying a contact form in a Pangolin page.
I just put the form in a Kookaburra page and I too am now seeing the address field.

@Ben and @Matthew will need to take a look.

Hi Ben,
the address field at the Contact page is displayed again and cannot be deleted anywhere. I’m using the current version 6.2.1

Thank you in advance,
Best regards,
Oliver

@Ben, I’m seeing the same thing. It’s only in contact forms in Kookaburra pages.

Can someone please share a link to a page that definitely shouldn’t have an address field?

Hi all, we have put in a silent fix to address this. To apply the fix:

  1. Visit Backlight Modules in the Backlight admin
  2. Click the Reinstall link for the Kookaburra Page module
  3. Click the Reinstall button.
