Album sets as children to albums sets

The templates are not the issue. It’s the Menu Set assigned to the Page Templates.

You have two page templates. All of your site, except the Home page, is using the Default Page template. All of your album sets, and albums, and other pages are using the correct Menu Set (the one with all the correct drop-downs in the menu)
The only page where the menu isn’t working the way you want it is your Home page.

My guess is that you have at least two Menu Sets. One of them is assigned to your Default Page template. The other is assigned to your Full-Screen Page Template. Make sure that both page templates are using the same Menu Set (the one assigned to Default Page template).

Rod: Sorry for the delay; had an another appointment. I went back into the Backlight settings page for my website. I used the dropdown for Publisher and selected Menu Sets. I have attached an image of what I found there…looks like I only have one menu set defined. Should I look for something else?

Thanks

Aaron

Here’s what I would try:

First, clear template cache (Backlight > Admin > Special Links). Then clear browser cache and refresh your home page.

If that doesn’t work, then try creating a new Menu Set. It doesn’t have to have much in it, just something to replace what’s existing. Assign the new Set to the home page. Go to the home page to make sure the new set is there.
Then edit your home page again and assign the original Menu Set. Check to see if it’s working properly.

If that doesn’t work, try creating a new full screen page template. Make sure your Default Menu Set is assigned to it. Then assign this new template to your Home Page.

Rod: Clearing the template and browser caches solved the problem!!! Many thanks!

I probably should have thought of that first, it’s often the solution to several things…

No problem…I greatly appreciate the help. Best wishes for a great holiday season.
