Are there any tools to consolidate old albums

Does anyone know of any tools to take old albums and consolidate them under the current backlight?

I have older cd3 and gallery folders containing the albums.

You could, but it’s a bit complicated.
First, were the albums created with CE3 Publisher? If not, then there is no way other than creating new albums.
If they were created by CE3 Publisher, what you’d have to do is first migrate them to CE4 Publisher control. I don’t know if that is available, @Matthew would have weigh in.

If you get the albums under CE4 Publisher control, there’s a tool in Backlight to migrate CE4 albums to Backlight.

on a related note, is it possible to run a second host that is only on my internal network to consolidate the several versions of my past websites?

I would apply any cex rollups and various older backlight versions that i have created.

Are there tools to help with this? and can i do it with my current license at the same time my external site is live?

Other than the tools currently in Backlight (migrating albums and migrating Cart settings) I don’t know of any tools.
Your license covers any domain you own. I have several test sites in sub-domains, for example.
