Recently upgraded to BL3 and very pleased with how well it went and how everything is looking!
I tried using the BL3 image uploader this evening and successfully ran a test with uploading an album of approx 1000 images, then I ran into a problem after I deleted the photos - Backlight gave an error message (which unfortunately I didn’t capture). I deleted the album though with no problems.
Now when attempting to create another album and selecting NEW files to upload, the images aren’t being displayed after being selected for upload - just a blank box with the filename shown below. If I select “upload” I just get “uploading 0%”.
On testing with the images that were originally uploaded (to the album that I deleted) they display when selected and they upload ok. Any NEW images though just show the blank box and 0%, so I guess something is broken here or I’ve inadvertently done something but no idea what! As far as I can see everything is the same, and the original images upload ok, it’s just anything new that won’t display or upload.
Tried things like logging out of Backlight, clearing the template cache and also creating a completely new album with a different template.
In terms of the image formats, the sets are identical JPEGS (taken on a Canon 1DX & 5DIV) and my workflow is to generate them for upload via Adobe Bridge/Adobe Camera RAW. I’ve run a test and the images that won’t upload do upload fine via Lightroom’s publisher with no problems. Any views please on what might be causing this problem and how to fix it please?
Worth adding a point here as to why I want to use the BL3 uploader - with HTTPS, using the Lightroom publisher is very slow, typically it takes twice the amount of time, approx 10 seconds per image compared to the BL3 uploader which I’m benchmarking at 6 seconds per image.
