Is it possible to have a youtube embedded video play as soon as the page is loaded/menu clicked? I haven’t looked at this for a while and can’t find anything in the Pangolin Theater template settings.
Great if someone could let me know how please!

Thanks as always Rod!
Well this got quite interesting I managed to get the auto play working with YouTube, but now there’s some “interference” from YouTube which gives a message “sign in to confirm you’re not a bot” and of course the video won’t play. Clearly not a Backlight error.
So I switched over to a Vimeo embed instead, which works but won’t auto play. Is there anything I can do to get the auto play working? If I put the video ID into the Lightroom album the embedded video flashes up the first frame of the video and then presents a blank white screen until the play button is pressed (same result with Safari and Chrome). Adding “?autoplay=1” to the Video ID at least shows the video thumbnail but it won’t autoplay.
This message might only happen to you and not a regular visitor. Did you try with another browser where you’re not logged into your google youtube account? Or you can share a link here and we can check.

This is using a Vimeo embed code, in the Lightroom album the Video ID is 1066494607?autoplay=1
The YouTube “sign in to confirm you’re not a bot” seems to be happening to a variety of people when trying to view embedded videos so it appears to be something Google have implemented.
