Better resolution of images

Hi
I have a problem. i have my pictures in 300 dpi. When I have uploaded the images they are only in 96 dpi.
I can not find any way to get the images in 300 dpi.

dpi on the web is meaningless, it only matters for prints. Most standard monitors display at 96ppi.
What matters on the web is number of pixels.

how do i get more pixels in the images.
I have tried a lot but all images are 2048 pixels

That’s the limit for display images and should be more than sufficient for sharp images displayed on the web.
Did you need higher resolution for downloadable images?

Yes it is because the customer himself prints the pictures as posters
