I noticed quite by accident that if you have a Protected by Access Code gallery, the individual images can be viewed by direct URL’s. I tried protecting the images inside the Protected gallery and they were still available via direct URL (for example: https://www.silvernitratephotography.com/private/funeral30/photos/CR-1519.jpg) same goes for Private/Client Only albums.
I’m not sure I’d report this as a bug, but should be something people are aware of…
Hi, I don’t have that problem. Whenever I have an album set to Private, it always asks for an email address and password. Maybe you’re logged into Backlight, which is why you have access.
Hi Ben - it might be something to document if nothing else. Also setting individual images to “Protected” didn’t make a difference when trying via direct URL’s…
