checkAuth Error in Lightroom URL check for Publisher

I am getting this error message when I use the “Check Authorization” button in the Lightroom Publishing Manager dialog;
“Unable to perform action: checkAuth
Unexpected error: mkdir(): No such file or directory in PublisherDelegate.php on line 1527”

make sure that the API url matches the same format as what you have set in Backlight > Settings > Site URL.
If you’re site is using https, so should your API url.

The API URL is the same in both places, using https. Still receive the same error dialog. This has worked earlier, the only differences is that I recently upgraded from 3.01 to 3.2.

Are you using the latest available version of the Publisher plug-in?
You can get it by going to your Backlight Modules page and downloading it from the link near the top of the page.

That error is caused when the Backlight attempts to create the directory for your top-level gallery.
What do you have set for your “Top-level sets directory” setting under Other Publisher Options in your Publisher instance settings? Does it correspond to a directory on your server? e.g. if it’s set to ‘galleries’, do you have a ‘galleries’ directory under the top directory of your website?

Yes - I’m using the latest version of Publisher.

The top level directory is set to ‘galleries’ and there is a ‘galleries’ folder. There are currently three galleries there that appear in the "galleries’ section of Backlight admin. As I mentioned before, this was all working at one time.

Hi @vscott, something has changed that has since broken it. I’ll need to dig deeper to work out what’s going on here. Would you be able to provide me with a Backlight admin login and FTP access so that I can look further into this? The best way to do so is by clicking my forum profile name then clicking on Message.

Sorry to have taken your time, Ben - I should have figured this out myself. I had changed hosting services and migrated files to a new server, but neglected to move some albums from the old site. Updated the files and all working fine now.
