Client response in Backlight 3

When I create a new album and publish it, everything seems to work just fine, but when I get the selection reports back, no matter what the file is named in Lightroom, all the files have been renamed to the file names from a session that I shot two months ago. The image numbers match the current session. What do I need to do to make sure that the file names are correct?

Currently I have to take the report list into a text editor/word processor and remove everything but the file number for the selection list to work in Lightroom Library module to select the images

Thanks!

Are you using any file renaming when publishing?
for that matter, how are you publishing? Lightroom Publisher or Backlight Publisher?
I’m just wondering if the file names got changed along the way in Lightroom.

I am publishing from Lightroom using TTG publisher. I had a thought, and just went to my server, and it looks like the name was changed during the export process and not in the selection and reporting.

The name Shamir_Lee-2-5DNG in the LR catalog and the Publisher collection was changed to Drew_and Chloe-5.jpg.

I do not see any place to rename the files in the process of exporting from Lightroom.

In Lightroom, double click on the Publisher instance for that site to get to the Settings screen. A little over halfway down that screen you’ll see the File Naming section. Whatever is happening is likely happening there.

Thank you! Problem solved. I must have missed any documentation that explained the double-click to access those settings. Or I skipped or ignored them.

Yeah, Lightroom is good at hiding things…
