Considering upgrade to BL 5

Im currently using Backlight 3 and considering upgrading. Can you point me to a link which describes the more significant changes between BL 3 and 5? Thanks

That’s a big topic.
There is no one link to describe the big differences.
One major advantage of upgrading to BL5 is that it’s compatible with php 8

But if you’re interested in the changes since BL 3, you could go through the blog starting with the BL4 announcement.

I am also using Backlight 3, but considering an upgrade to v5 so that I can have all the latest features. My biggest fear is that BL5 has been out some time now and don’t want to purchase if BL6 is just round the corner. Rod or Matt any thoughts? Kim.

Matt’s the one to know for sure, but we’ve not been testing anything new.
