I have filled out the Contact Page form and turned it on in pages. But I still can’t get the page to show. Am I missing something?

When you uploaded the unzipped installation files, did the .htaccess file get uploaded?
The root folder of your site should contain:
index.php
.htaccess
backlight/ (folder)
galleries/ (folder)
This is the contents of my home folder. I don’t see the .htaccess file.
try uploading the .htaccess file from the root of the unzipped folder you downloaded from TTG. It may be hidden, depending on settings in your operating system (Google “reveal hidden files”)

I am on a Mac using Safari?
When I search the folder for .htaccess it shows a file with a question mark and underneath it says htaccess_for_page_not_found_redirects.htaccess

Ok that brought up a .htaccess file with a question mark on it and the file is grayed out.
When I clicked on Get Info for this file it shows that I have read & write permissions. Can I upload it?
