I have filled out the Contact Page form and turned it on in pages. But I still can’t get the page to show. Am I missing something?

When you uploaded the unzipped installation files, did the .htacces# file get uploaded?
The root folder of your site should contain:
index.php
.htaccess
backlight/ (folder)
galleries/ (folder)
