I’m in the process of setting up a new site and I’m wondering if there is a way to go through the cart system but only accept a deposit on the full amount? And obviously get the full payment later, is it possible using the current system?

Its an image editing service with slide shows, 360 panorama stitching, 360 tours etc, but I only want to charge a deposit until the client likes the output then can pay the balance.
I use the cart to accept deposits and balance payment for my workshops.
As long as you’re not depending on your client purchasing individual images from an image album, it’s easy to set things up to take deposits.
You’ll need to use a “write-in” button. And I think it needs to be used on a page that is not an album. Or maybe it can be used on an album page as long as the album template is not using the Cart Add-on. I’ll have to double check that.
