Just installed Backlight.
( My Galleries folder contains CRG galleries CE4 since 2016 and would like to keep them )
more info please. When is this error occurring? Is your site accessible?
If you were updating from a CE4 site, did you follow the upgrade instructions?
What version of php is your site running?
I don’t believe there is a CE4 CRG to Backlight migration tool. And I’m not optimistic that the CE4 CRG galleries can run in parallel to a Backlight site. I think they would require ttg-be to still be intact but I don’t know if that would even work.
You can migrate CE4 albums to Backlight, but for the CRG albums, the client information would not come along for the ride. You’d have to assign the albums a new CRG album template, assuming they were originally created using Lightroom Publisher (you’d need the Client Response Add-on), and re-create your client list and album assignments.
Trying to think of a way of keeping your old CE4 CRGs. Maybe installing a CE4 site in a sub-domain and housing just those galleries there while you work on the Backlight versions?
MIght be that @Ben of @Matthew or others would have some ideas.
Hi @optioneel, the installer needs PHP 7.1 or newer to run. Do you have a way of changing the version on PHP your site is running on? There may be something in the control panel.
Thanks, I never checked before: It was on 7.0, changed it to 7.4,
