Error message: unable to fins SQLite Module

Installing Backlight 6 I got this message.

{Unable to find the SQLite module. Backlight requires the PDO, SQLite and XML modules. Make sure that these modules are installed and enabled.}

I checked the community feed and found a message that said I needed to contact my host about this.

The representative responded:
Thank you for your patience. I consulted with our team and learned that, in the current PHP version, the PDO, SQLite, and XML modules are not supported. These modules were only available in PHP version 5.6 and earlier…the PDO, SQLite, and XML modules are not supported on PHP version 7.4 and this is not under our control and we won’t be able to make any changes regarding the same.

So…Am I out of luck here…do I have to find a different host provider…The host provider I have is Startlogic.com

That simply is not true. Your host in particular has perhaps disabled those modules in their specific implementation of PHP 7.4. But what they are telling you is nonsense.

Yes, you should migrate to a new host.
