Hello !
I’m a little disappointed: on a mobile phone, the galleries are perfect but the texts are not resized and moreover my font (papyrus.ttf) is not loaded!
For example, on my current site that I laboriously coded myself with adobe.dreamweaver ( www.vollat.fr ) , the font is loaded. But I’m tired of coding and wanted something easier.
I thought TTG easily responsive; isn’t it.
What should I do ?
Thank you once again for your help
We need something to look at. Can you share a link to your Backlight site?
did you upload papyrus.ttf to your site and add the proper css to call it?
Ok, thank you !
My Backlight site : www.vollat.eu
I’m seeing the Papyrus font on my iPhone. I don’t think the iPhone comes loaded with Papyrus so I’m assuming you’ve uploaded the font to your /backlight/custom/webfonts/ folder on your site. If you’re not seeing it, double check that you’ve uploaded it.
Your breadcrumbs font setting is rather large (48px). Personally, I’d make it smaller than it currently is for the desktop, something that’s close to a standard font size, like the “normal” setting. And then just add a title to the albums in the album copy area. You can use headings there, like h2 or h3. Not only will that look better, it may be better for SEO purposes.
Backlight is built to be responsive, but this also assumes you will make sensible choices when creating your templates. The controls provide plenty of flexibility for you to break things.
Thanks for your help.
I’ll think about all that!
For the moment, I use TTG for the creation of galleries which are really great.
Thanks again
