Fotomoto Error Message Generated by PayPal?

Hi all,
Been trying to produce a test print to see output from Fotomoto, from this URL Fotomoto - Quatrain ƒotographic, LLC

• Running BL5: all is up to date, template cache cleared. Fotomoto Store ID is correct in BL settings.

• Contacted Fotomoto tech help: they advised that I try generating a guest transaction with price set “at cost”. Everything functions great until after tapping the very last “Pay” [PayPal] button which returns this error message saying, “Your payment cannot be completed. Please return to the participating website and try again.”

• To avoid the problem of buying and selling simultaneously from the same PayPal account, I set up the payment with one of my credit cards [actually tried two different CCs and both throw the error message].

• Fotomoto tech help said to make sure I’m not logged-in to PayPal, clear browser history + cookies, & refresh window. Did that…
• De-select the “use your PayPal account” checkbox in the screen prior to making the final payment. Did that…
• Made sure to complete the transaction without logging-in to PayPal. Used a credit card.

My Question:
Is it possible that since I have the BL5 shopping cart installed and running to self-fulfill fine art prints on a different page of the website that PayPal is creating this conflict with Fotomoto?

To say it another way: does the BL Cart have some connection running in the background [even though I’m not logged into my PayPal account] that’s creating the conflict with Fotomoto?

Fotomoto tech help said in the most recent eMail, “…please know that these messages are coming from PayPal.”

Any thoughts would be appreciated.
Thanks for considering,
Don

Hi Don,

The cart should not cause any conflict with Fotomoto functionality.

Had a quick look at your page, but I’m not sure how to test the flow without actually making a transaction. :upside_down_face:
