Getting Paradox 404 error message with photogallery

Soon after php 8.3 upgrade when clicking on photo galleries I get a 404 error. Everything else on website appears to work. After I found this issue thought might be due to incompatibility between Backlight 5 and
php 8.3 so upgraded to backlight 6. Issue remained. Contact Dreamhost and had them revert back to php 8.1 and then 8.2 and does not help. Please check www.shillingphotojewelry.com

Also noticed that after I upgraded to Backlight 6 the Publishing Plugin no longer works. Downloaded the plugin but not clear how to upgrade the plugin.

Upgrading the plugin is the same as a new install. You just replace the existing plugin. It’s documented here Albums and Album Sets | Backlight

For your error, best is to send a direct message to @Ben that includes the Backlight admin password so he can dive into this. To do this, click on his name and then Message.

Hi @pshilling, I’m not sure what could be causing this. Can you take a look at your site via FTP and verify that the photo directory is still there?

The galleries are there. I can connect to the gallery page by using the appropriate URL.
The galleries open when I click on each face image and the photos display.
Based on these actions, I concluded that the link between the Photo Gallery Link on the Home page
and the page that displays the group of galleries is screwed up.
How can that link be fixed?
Thanks, Paul

Thanks. I made a mistake and chose not to reupload all my photos when I updated the plugin and
my albums all disappeared from Publish Services. How can I get them back?

=Does the catalogue contain the collections in Publishing Services.
Would using a recent catalogue backup fix the issue even though I updated to
a new version of Publishing Services?

Hi @pshilling, can you share a link of where you can see the photos on your website?

The album information is part of the catalogue. Restoring from a backup might bring them back.
They shouldn’t have disappeared though. This page has some steps that may help fix a catalogue that’s not working as it should: How do I reset Lightroom's Preferences? | The Lightroom Queen

This is where the Photo Galleries link on the Home Page should go and not to 404 error message.

In addition the website is now opening to the search page and not the Home page.

Thanks, Paul

I notice that in your menu, the link to your photo galleries is www.shillingphotojewelry.com/photo/galleries/
rather than www.shillingphotojewelry.com/photo-galleries/

I’m not seeing that happening
