Getting sqlite error message

I have installed apache, php, sqlite and adjusted the config files. i still get this error. is there a topic somewhere which covers this error message?

Unable to find the SQLite module. Backlight 2 requires the PDO, SQLite and XML modules. Make sure that these modules are installed and enabled.

If managing your own server, install the required PHP modules. If not, then contact your host.
