Hosting service recommendations

I’m looking to move from HostGator as my initial pricing after 3 years has now tripled. Any suggestions for
other hosting services which have worked well with Backlight?

Hi Terry, I can start with one that does not work well with Backlight: GoDaddy. It’s be if you avoid them.
The issue with GoDaddy is that their network security layer blocks legitimate traffic from the LR Publisher, and there’s no reliable way to get their tech support fix it.

Hopefully others can chime in with more constructive recommendations!

Matt has recently mentioned InMotion and Dreamhost, so they’ll be worth looking at: HostGator Troubles

My site works on DreamHost… bigsur.photography… Moved from Hostgator this year…

IONOS (previously known and 1&1). I’ve been using them for over 20 years for various thing. Never a problem with Backlight.
