How to integrate backlight as "subfolder" in my current domain

First of all, I wish everyone a Happy New Year!

I run a WordPress installation for my main pages. I use Backlight as a gallery for my clients to download images, make purchases, etc. Backlight, however, runs as a subdomain to my main domain. The problem is that the traffic generated by my clients when accessing the gallery does not contribute to my main domain.

My question, therefore, is whether it is possible to run Backlight in a subdirectory so that it looks something like this: www.maindomain.de/backlight_folder/backlight/…

Yes, it is.
Install only the backlight/ and galleries/ folders.
In Backlight Settings, the Site URL needs to include the sub-folder.
the url to your galleries would then be yoursite.com/sub-folder/galleries/
