Item 2. above is not fixed. /backlight/ is still redirecting to a non-clean URL instead of to /backlight/publisher/login/
Once you fix that, the URL to /backlight/publisher/ will also resolve
ok, found the error … rewrite module wasn’t active … ‘sudo a2enmod rewrite’ did the trick.
Something that you’d expect to be enabled on a well-configured server.
