iPhone Dark Mode and Slideshows

Hi TTG,

I’ve discovered a problem when someone views my website on their iPhone that has “dark mode” enabled in the evening. My landing page uses a Vegas Slideshow for the main content, and when the “Type” is set to “Full-screen”, the slide show is obscured by a panel that I can pull up to reveal the images. Changing the Type to “Inline” results in the slide show being visible, but the Menu button (Upper left) is dark and darker.

I’ve added CSS and HTML5 meta tags for color-scheme “only light” but they do not appear to be honored.

So… Can you explain the difference in appearance between “Full Screen” and “Inline” for the slide show and offer a solution for the Menu button?

Sounds like the browser is fucking with the page in ways that I would like to think it should not do. But I have literally no idea what’s going on here. Can you share a link? Maybe if I take a look at your site on my phone, I might have an idea.
