I am using a Pangolin album template to control an album. I have 6 images that I want to show in the album. I am using Classic grid style. gallery max width is set to 2560. Columns are set to strictly 2 only, regardless of screen width. Thumbnails are set to a width and height of 512 - the max setting.
I do all this and make sure I republish the images from LR.
Yet, the images are very widely spaced as I view the page (in a maximized window) from my monitor which has a resolution of 1440x2560. As I shrink the size of the browser window, the thumbnails keep their size until a limit is reached, and then they begin to also shrink is size accordingly. No problem there. However when I expand the browser window back out. There is a point where the thumbnails stop increasing in size. I want the thumbnails to fill the space up. Is there a way to render the thumbnails larger? 512 px isn’t cutting it.
Those ideas did not work. Other thoughts?..
BTW: I checked, my original JPEGS are minimum 1600 px on the short side. We have good quality source images to work with.
Hi Rod,
Thanks for getting back to me. It was only on the landing (index) page where I had trouble. I have played around with numerous different layout possibilities within Kookaburra and Pangolin. I could not get what I wanted, which was either a 2x3 grid of large thumbnails (with no related slideshow), OR one single extra large frame with 6 images cycling through (and nothing else).
I could achieve the 2x3 grid, but the thumbnails just weren’t big enough. Hence why I started this topic.
I could achieve the cycling frame through the Kookaburra Carousel feature. But I didn’t want to have the ability to click on the images for a slideshow or otherwise.
So I wrote code to do the latter and put it into the page copy.
