Linking to Contact Info

I have a page on my website that describes my Lightroom Training business. I have placed the Contact section after the description at the bottom of the page. When a user lands on this page after clicking Learn More on a current instagram ad, I would like them to have the option to skip the description of the business and fill in the contact info when they first land on the page. Can I add a button on the top of the page that contains text “start now” and when clicked on navigates to the Contact section on the bottom of the page? The html of your description has several issues. Generally, it is recommended to use css for styling instead of inline style attributes. Then you have several  tags that are not closed in the form of

........ The format should be .......

Here is one example:

Fixing this should move the page footer to the bottom of the page instead of the top where it is right now.

Re your question: yes, you can. An example is sfos - Daniel Leu Photography. It’s a single page site. The menu leads to different section on the same page.

First you need to add an ID (id="contact") to the contact title like:

Contact 

And then you can add a button code to the top of the page that links to #contact, like <a href="#contact">Jump to contact form</a>

Sorry, there is one more thing to take care off: tag order

Now you have two closing 's, good, but you still need to follow the order of the tags. So you have .... So to close them, you need to use the same order reversed: .

So the first offending line should look like

You’ve still got some unclosed tags and stray end tags. And you’re putting p tags inside other p tags, which is not allowed

Put the url to your page in a HTML validator and look for the error messages, specifically any mentioning end tags or unclosed elements.

Since they all seem to be the same font family, maybe put that declaration in a div that surrounds the whole thing and then just add the styling for size and color where needed.

</div>

Basically, you can wrap everything in a div and declare all the styling that’s common to everything. Then if you need to change color or font size, you can do so on a paragraph by paragraph basis (or use a span for an individual word or phrase). It means you don’t have to write out all that styling in every paragraph.

Thanks for your suggestions. There is an issue with your code in that it puts space between category titles and text. Please see attached example. How do I remove the space between “Import” and the text below. Thanks, Paul

Yes, the look is a bit different but it seemed to be okay to me.

But you can use margin-bottom: -1em;. So it would look like:
