I switched from Windows to a mac. Installed Lightroom and after that installed the publisher service. I had two album collections published. One surfaced after installing the plugin. The other is gone. Everything I published is still on my site. However after connecting all the published information (album sets, albums) was gone from Lightroom for this service.
How do I connect and get my source data back from the server?
I had a special disk only for lightroom. Catalog, and everything with it pictures in directories etc. I copied that as a whole to the new PC. But it was offcourse a new Lightroom installation. Settings and most plugins not included. So I downloaded and installed the publisher plugin. Saw only one published set. The other was still visible on my windows PC. But got deleted later…
I might have a backup with all datya somewhere. But I have to know where the publisher data like album sets, templates etc resides.
I downloaded the latest from backlight online. When I reset the plugin is gone. From one publisher service set I can still see the albums (5) that are under the publish server. From the other the albums are not there. I reinstalled the plugin and one works the other one is empty. It says not saved, even if I save it (no error message).
The LR catalogue is itself a SQLite database. You may be able to garner some info by looking at backups of the catalogue but the structure is quite cryptic. I haven’t looked at one in a while in order to advise where or how the album set structure is stored.
