LR Develop changes not updating on site

I noticed that changes made in the LR Develop module are not being published to my website. I’m not sure exactly when this started.
Adding or removing photos does work, but image adjustments: crop, exposure, etc, are not updating to the site.
After making a change and publishing, the publish steps (apparently) complete:

  • photo appears in the “Modified Photos to Re-Publish” area
  • “Updating Published Collections” completes
  • “2 Operations in Progress…” completes

For debug, I have taken these steps, but they did not resolve the issue:

  • updated to the latest Publisher 5.0.3
  • verified API key authentication check
  • opened site on Safari and Chrome
  • cleared browsers cache

Modules:

  • BL3
  • LR 9.3
  • Publisher v5.0.3

Do you have by chance ‘Push metadata without updating existing photos’ the Lr Publisher settings selected?

Yes; the “Push Metadata…” is selected

and well, I guess that actually says it “… without publishing existing photos”
