I made a change on my search page and now I’ve lost the box to enter search terms. How do I get it back?
Can you post a link to the site?
Rod - URL: http://www.williphotos.com/Backlight_TestSite/recipes/beverages/ show examples of clipped portrait thumbnails.
You will notice landscape photos show correctly, but portrait ones are clipped top and bottom. When displayed at full size which they will not at the moment, (another problem you and I have been working recently) both orientations display correctly. Your help is greatly appreciated.
Regarding the thumbnails, I’ll post the link you provided over at the relevant topic.
Regarding the search box:
the url you’re using for your search page is incorrect, this is why you’re not seeing the search box.
The correct url is: http://www.williphotos.com/Backlight_TestSite/backlight/search/
You can add text to the page by going to Backlight Settings > Languages > manage language.
then scroll down to the Publisher section: Search Intro.
Rod - That did it and helped a lot. Thanks.
Rod - I must be losing it. When you previously pointed out that I could add my own text to my search page, I found the BL3 settings page language page without trouble. Now, I’ll be damned if I can find that page again. I looked for Languages entry on the BL3 settings page and I find it. Can you tell me what is above it or below it that will help me locate it? Does it only shown with advanced setting? If so, I couldn’t find it there either.
And in case you need to find the Languages section:
Click on Manage Language link when you get to the Languages page
