Mixed Active Content Blocked by Chrome and Firefox browsers

I have built a simple website using Kookaburra templates. The website displays as expected using Safari on my MacBook. However, when testing with Chrome and Firefox images on Kookaburra essay pages show up as “Image Not Found”. The error window in Firefox shows the error “Blocked loading mixed active content…” This only seems to be an issue on my MacBook, Chrome and Firefox on my IOS devices display the content as expected.

In Settings, make sure that your site url starts with https
Also in Settings, under Privacy, I think, make sure that redirect browsers to https is enabled

Thanks Rod, I applied the two changes in settings and all is well. BTW, I really like Kookaburra.
