I just did that.
They found out something else:
it had to do something with the root CA from Let’s encrypt.
Anyway, they fixed it

Hi @George, I’m glad you had success with your host and good for them for looking into it and resolving it.
The issue you had, and others have had too, is that the server had an outdated version of OpenSSL installed. The root certificates for signing authorities (Let’s Encrypt, RapidSSL, etc.) come bundled with OpenSSL, and if they had expired, the server will fail to validate the SSL connection for outgoing requests, for example from your site to our server. Updating OpenSSL with its updated root certificates solves it.
