Move albums from one album set to another

Hi,

I have all my albums in one album set in BL 4,1. Now I want to reorganize them and move 10 albums into a newly created album set.

What I found on the forum search is going into “edit” from the album I want to move and select “base settings-> parent-> select the new album set”.

Problem is that my newly created album set does not show up in the drop down. I cleared caches within BL and browser.

Any idea would be great, since I don’t want to have to create all the albums again and upload the pictures again.

When going into the albums list view, couldn’t another column be implemented that lists the top-levet set they are in and be able to assign a new top-level set from there?

Hi @skipper, you should be able to see the target album set, so I’m not sure what’s going on.
Would you be able to provide me with a Backlight admin login by clicking on my profile name and sending a message from there? Can you also provide the name of the album you’re trying to move and where you’re trying to move it to?

Lastly, was this album created in Lightroom or via the Backlight Publisher?

Hi Ben,

I create all my albums in Backlight to be independent of Lightroom.
