Move Blacklight to other folder

Backlight 4, 5 & 6 Support

Hi there,

I set up blacklight in a subfolder under /shop/…

Now I need to get rid of /shop because I want to use BL instead of Wordpress.
When I now move the files and folders of Blacklight to my docroot all paths are still pointing to /shop/…

Is there an easy way to solve this? I do rather not want to do some fancy apache rewrite parties or any other hack :slight_smile:

go to Backlight Settings and change the site and company url (near the top of Settings)

Done. Styles seems not to be loaded correctly?

try clearing browser and template cache.
Can you also share a link to the site?

Clearing caches did not do the trick.

Working - My bad. Only cleared Browser cache.
Clearing Cache under Admin → Special Links did the trick

OK - so there is still a problem remaining. The pages I created can not be displayed. First I thought about changing my menu entries I defined under Designer → Menu Sets but this is not the problem.

When I click on ‘view in Browser’ in the page’s properties I get: Not Found
The requested URL was not found on this server.

Next up I created a new page. Even this page can not be displayed: Not Found
The requested URL was not found on this server.
Any idea?

When you moved the backlight files, did you also add the index.php and .htaccess that are in the root of the unzipped Backlight-4-Installer folder?
These are needed for Backlight to be the basis of the site.
