Moving top pallet

This is a sequel to “Top pallet logo, title and menu”. I’ve succeeded in placing the logo and the nameplate in the top pallet. That MENU button is still on his own, but I’ll get to that later.
Two things bother me today, and I can’t find the offending command or code.
If you notice, scrolling up, the pallet moves a bit toward the top of the page. Strange.
Also, the nameplate, having been created as a JPEG, cream-coloured text on grey background. So, when I scroll up, the whole pallet moves up a bit and the nameplate’s background shows (not too nice).
I removed the background from the nameplate, but it’s still showing on the page.

Try this, Pierre:

@media screen and (max-width: 999999px) {
    .page__pallet__top, .page__pallet__top.is-fixed {
       height: 48px;
    }
}

There might be a Backlight setting for this too.
