Hi there,
I am still wondering when it will be possible to have packages with downloadable items.
Lesser Customer are asking for Prints every year.
Seems like BL still lives in the 90‘s of the last Century - which, to be absolutly clear - would be a pitty as BL is simple, fast, and rock solid.
What about other customers of BL? Do you all really not need such a functionality? Am I really the only one struggling with this?

Hi @Elmar, thanks for the back-handed compliment on BL 
We have had very little feedback on Packages, so aren’t even aware of how popular the functionality is. I don’t recall if digital purchases were intentionally omitted. It may well have been an unintentional omission. I’ll look into adding this.

Hi @elmex04, I have looked into this. Virtual items (downloads) can be added to the packages if you enable Offline Digital Purchases. This setting can be found in the Cart Settings.
This limitation is due to the cart being unable to verify that the purchase renditions already exist at the time that items are assigned to a package purchase. I will review how this can be improved, possibly by having the cart assume that digital renditions exist and fall back to offline digital purchases after checkout if they don’t. I don’t have a time line for this, as I’m currently working on other changes.
