With my password protected galleries I have notice a strange issue,
I create the gallery with an access code, login in with the code but then whenever you click on one of thumbnails to view the larger image it asks again for the access code. This happens once on each of the galleries, once you have entered the access code in twice it doesn’t happen again for that gallery\album again but happens every time I upload a new gallery?
I see it happening on your site but can’t reproduce it on my test site. I tried with and without the Hero image and on both Single Image page and slide show presentation types.
I remember there were issues with your upgrade as well, also relating to protected galleries. This is probably a related, lingering issue. @Ben will need to take a look, but I suspect this is more to do with your particular instance of Backlight, or with your hosting, rather than with Backlight itself.
The issue is that the URL you’ve provided does not include www in it, and that the pages open with the www version of your Site URL. Choose which version of the URL you want to use, then set that as your Site URL in the main Backlight settings, and clear the template cache (Designer > Templates > Clear Template Cache).
The second part is probably more difficult: ensuring your site visitors start browsing at the same version of the URL (www or non-www) that you’ve decided upon. This can be achieved by adding a rule to the main .htaccess file of your website.
Thanks for the reply, I had a dig around with regards to the “www” or not. The site settings were all correct in Backlight I.E all had “www.tsiphotography,co.uk” , what i did find in LR Publisher manager is that the API URL did not have the “www” so I have added it and now that seems to have corrected the issue.
