Hi, one of the sites I manage isn’t working. They’ve updated to PHP 8.5, and the backlight galleries aren’t working. I assumed it was a compatibility issue between BL5 and PHP 8.5. I tried to log in to update to BL6, but I can’t. It’s blank and I can’t log in. How do I do it?
you may be able to revert to a previous version of php. Take a look at your host’s C-Panel
Rod’s suggestion is best, even if only to facilitate an upgrade to Backlight 6. Do take a look at the options in your hosting C-Panel.
If you’re unable to rollback to a previous PHP version to perform the upgrade, then @Ben can give you instructions how to manually upgrade to B6.
