Settings map

Every time I try to change, add, or remove something on my website, I end up fumbling around for ages and have to look up how to do it ‘properly’ again. I’ve talked about this before, but I’m facing the same issue yet again. Maybe it’s just my age, or more likely, because I don’t edit my website very often, but I feel totally lost every time I start. What I really need is a printed copy of all the settings, like a log or a map, to help me navigate everything. A kind of transcript that I can check and even write notes on. I know it’s old-school, but it would really make things easier for me, and probably for anyone else who doesn’t edit their website regularly.

In fact, what I am trying to do is insert a video into this subdirectory website: https://www.pideja.ca/danlev/, at the Portrait page.
I placed the video content in the videosrc folder and I created the page Portrait. But where do I tell Backlight how to “find” the said video content?

Assuming you’re using Pangolin, you need to use a Theater album to host the video.

You can then insert the video album into the About page.

Thank you, Rod, but as was to give up, I remembered that I had to create an album thru Lightroom, in my case, and then indicate, under Image Content, the video ID!
That’s what happens when you edit in Backlight, every few months or years!
