Settings not reflecting module version

Hi Ben,
The settings page shows 5.0.0 as my version but my modules are at 5.0.3- a non-critical bug perhaps?

Hi @tomowensphoto, it’s not exactly a bug. Backlight uses two numbering schemes. The number you’ve found (“on display in the bottom of a locked filing cabinet stuck in a disused lavatory with a sign on the door saying ‘Beware of the Leopard’”), pertains to the version used for database upgrades. This only gets incremented when module upgrades include a database change. If for example that happened as part of 5.0.4 then the version number you’ve found would be changed from 5.0.0. to 5.0.4.

This version is saved in the settings table alongside the other settings you can see.
