@Ben, I have mysterious borders being set also, not of my making. Visible in Firefox and Chrome. These borders are clearly visible in my Essays that were previously OK. This all started for me once I created a new private essay with the same template that had been used before. Settings around the masthead keep changing without my input and now the images are being presented with borders, again, not of my choosing.
Social media button options also keep setting themselves.

Masthed and image formatting borders
I’ve tried Firefox Developer and Chrome on a Mac and Edge on a PC: same mysterious resetting of paddings and borders to what seems to me as default values. It’s very frustrating to change whatever and have these settings change from custom to default.
I am trying to upgrade Okapi pages by creating a similar design in Pangolin.
But, it’s two steps forward and one step back all the time.

Problem fixed. Click on Reinstall all in Backlight Modules.
Thank you Matthew and Ben for swiftly addressing this issue. I have updated all modules. But two sites I manage were already updated, including the site discussed on this thread!
Did you click on “Reinstall all” for those two sites?
I just did and trying to get rid of that social media icon, I get reset borders and padding again!
Cleared the template cache also. Will now reset everything, exit and come back. Maybe this will work.
