How can I apply my default page template to the client Login page? The Login page currently has a different appearance and menu set than my other pages and I can’t find a place to change that.
Assign a page template in Backlight Settings > Personalization > Client Template

Yes - I assigned the page template that I use for all my pages. Clearing cache did not help.

Your client login page is using the same page template as your home page.
Did you try clearing browser cache as well as template cache?
Last night, I thought it would be sufficient to just reload the page (ctrl-F5), but that had no effect. It should have occurred to me to do either a hard reload or refresh the browser cache. When I checked this morning, the correct template was being applied. Thanks!
