I want to add pages with explanations on subjects including illustrations for a blog and for explanatory texts on certain subjects. The text has to flow around the illustrations. Do I have to go look for something like Wordpress what I do not want or can I export something from word without having to create a PDF so the text and illustrations will be part of the website. The Essay module is clearly not what I am looking for…
You could use WordPress to easily add floated images
or you can use html to add images to text on a Backlight page:
