I’m preparing to move from my Windows 10 computer to a new Windows 11 machine on July 14. Most file and application transfers should be straightforward, but I’m concerned about moving Lightroom Classic and Backlight 5.0. My website (www.williphotos.com) is hosted on Bluehost, and I want to avoid rebuilding it after reinstalling LR and Backlight. Is it possible to keep the site intact, and what steps should I follow when transferring LR and Backlight?
Moving to a new computer will not affect Backlight since it lives on the web and is not installed on your computer. As far as the Lightroom to Backlight connection via the TTG Publisher plugin, that’s catalog specific, so as long as you’re working from the same catalog on the new computer, you should be good to go.
I’d also suggest copying your Lightroom preferences/presets/ modules, etc. from your old machine to the new one. Not a Backlight issue, it just makes life easier.

Thanks for your quick and encouraging response. I will let you know how it goes - Bill
Rod - For clarification, since Backlight is already available on my website, does this mean reinstallation will not be necessary?
