Trouble with upgrade to Backlight 3 from Backlight 1.1

I have read the instruction to first upgrade to Backlight 1.2.4 before upgrading to backlight 3 which I have purchased. After replacing all the modules instructed to for the 1.2.4 upgrade, I attempted to go to http://www.nigelsoultphoto.com/backlight/admin and the browser gives me an error about too many redirects and the url for the bowser is http://www.nigelsoultphoto.com/backlight/admin/admin/admin/admin/admin/admin/admin/admin/admin/admin/admin/admin/admin/admin/admin/admin/admin/

What have I done wrong?

It sounds like perhaps a .htaccess file is in the wrong place.

Make sure that the .htaccess file that’s in the root of the unzipped Backlight-124.zip file is uploaded to the root of your site and that the .htaccess file inside of the backlight/ folder (Found in the unzipped Backlight-124.zip folder) is uploaded to the backlight/ folder on the site.
