Unable to install Backlight: order does not include Backlight 2

I last used Backlight back in 2016 (I don’t even remember what version it was). Today, I bought Backlight 6 and I’m trying to install it as a fresh install (not attempting an upgrade). I moved all the old directories into an archive directory to avoid any interference and then uploaded Backlight 6 into the ~/public_html folder.

When I open backlight/installer it prompts for the order id and email, which I enter, and then it shows a blue button to “Start Install”. After clicking the button it gives a red error box saying “Unable to install Backlight: order does not include Backlight 2”. I confirmed that my order includes Backlight 6 along with the Galleria and Theater add-ons.

Server is running PHP 7.3.33

Hi @mikealex, I can see that our server is failing when trying to install modules for your order. I can’t see any issues with your order number or trying to match against Backlight. I’ll look further into this to find a resolution.

Thanks, @mikealex. I’ve found the issue and fixed it. This was an issue with how our server matches orders with products. You should be able to continue with the installation now.
