Unable to send message after password change

I changed the password for e-mail on the server. Now I am not getting any new order notifications. I tried to send a test message but it doesn’t come through either. Do I need to reset something in the configuration?

have you checked spam folders?

In your Backlight settings, are you using ‘mail’ or ‘smtp’ for the Mail Send Type? If it’s the latter then you may need to change the SMTP Password field.

I am using Mail Send Type: mail
my mail is in the same domain
domain: xyz.com
mail: info@xyz.com
No mails in spam folders

I will try smtp

The problem is on the server side (Mail Send Type: mail) - not resolved yet.
Option (Mail Send Type: smtp) works fine.
