Update Lightroom Publisher Plugin

Hi,

Just upgraded to Backlight 4.
I’m about to update the Lightroom plugin but I can’t find any information on best practice.
Can I just erase the old catalogue and replace it with the new TTG-Publisher.lrplugin v6 catalogue?

DO NOT erase your catalog.
Just replace the plugin. Install it like you originally did.

I won’t delete my LR cotalog. I ment the catalog with the plugin

The new LR plugin (6.0.0) that comes with BL4 - is it still compatible with LR 6.14 (the last perpetual version)?

We don’t have a way of testing it on LR 6, but there’s no reason it shouldn’t be compatible. Can you give it a go and confirm that it works for you?

The first time I tried to add the new publish module, LR crashed abruptly. The second time it worked OK, and the updated publish function seems to work. I have not explored any functionality beyond just uploading an image to an existing (BL3) album.
