I have tried to get a youtube video to display in an album. I paste the url from youtube into it as media, and then all the pictures in the album disappear and put the code in main copy in lightroom.
I don’t know where I should put my private video files to be able to embed them on a page. The video files are on my synology disk accessible with syneology media player.
We posted a silent update to fix an issue that some users were having with the video feature. On the Backlight Modules page, re-install your modules to ensure you have the fix, in case that’s impacting you.
YouTube URLs should work. If you want to use your own video files, they you should host them in the same space as your site, and provide the full URL to the video file.

That’s not a YouTube video. If you’re hosting your own video, then add an image during the setup. If the essay presentation contains images, the first one will be used as the video poster image.
