On August 11th, my hosting service is doing an upgrade: “PHP will be upgraded from 7.3 to the latest version of 7.4. MySQL will be upgraded from MariaDB 10.2 to the latest version of MariaDB 10.3.”
Will this upgrade cause any issues with my Backlight site?

Assuming you are using the latest version of Backlight, there will be no issues. I’m running PHP 7.4 on my site. MySQL is not used by Backlight, but it is used by Wordpress. So if you using Wordpress too, I would suggest that you update to the latest version as well.

I’m using Backlight 4, latest update. Not using Wordpress. Good to know I’ll have no issues.
